From Bill Kenwright Films comes a journey of rediscovery, friendship and forgiveness. Directed by BAFTA-nominated Jules Williamson, and featuring the music of Blondie, Off the Rails is a sunny, feel-good whistle-stop tour across some of the most beautiful locations in Europe.

A dying wish from their best friend, Anna (Andrea Corr), compels Cassie (Kelly Preston), Kate (Jenny Seagrove), and Liz (Sally Phillips), to put old feuds aside and come together. They agree to take Anna’s 17-year-old daughter on the interrailing journey across Europe they did not quite finish during their own studies.

Now in their fifties, they are older but not necessarily wiser. With some bad luck, train strikes and romantic entanglements thrown in their way, the trip promises as many laughs, tears and moments of self-discovery as the first time around. The question is: will they reach their destination in time to honour their friend’s memory?

This life-affirming, comedy drama is enhanced by remastered classic Blondie tracks including Call MeOne Way or AnotherHeart of Glass and The Tide Is High, alongside catalogue deep cuts and exclusive, unreleased tracks.
