Screening Dates:
Sun 22 May 11:00am

Northampton Film Festival returns to Northampton Filmhouse for 2022!

After our virtual festival in 2021, Screen Northants are back with Northampton Film Festival 2022: Know Your Place showcasing the best Northants short films and feature films with a local connection.

NFF 2022 runs from 16th – 22nd May including events at the Grosvenor Centre and the University of Northampton, with all our competition and feature screenings at the Filmhouse 19th – 22nd May. This year’s festival is all about knowing your place: knowing there are opportunities for Northants people in the ever-expanding British film industry and knowing there’s plenty going on here in Northampton.

Northampton Film Festival 2022: Know Your Place is all about ensuring young people know their county is a hotbed of creativity and know there is a place for them in the Film Industry, if they have the talent and drive.

This screening showcases local work from young people to young people.

Those who have submitted work will be invited to the screening and there may be some tickets left over, so we’d encourage anyone who would like to see their work to contact [email protected] for an invitation.

The Northampton Film Festival has been made possible with the support of the BFI Film Audience Network, awarding funds from the National Lottery in order to bring this project to more audiences across the UK.

The festival is also supported by Nenescape, Northamptonshire Community Foundation, Northampton Borough Council, the University of Northampton, Northampton Filmhouse, the Grosvenor Centre, Panavision and Cineworld Sixfields.
