Director: Lee Isaac Chung
Starring: Steven Yeun, Yeri Han, Alan Kim, Noel Kate Cho, Yuh-Jung Youn, Will Patton

Nominated for 6 BAFTAs and 6 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Minari is the unmissable new film from writer-director Lee Isaac Chung.

Inspired by Chung’s childhood, Minari is a tender, sweeping and semi-autobiographical story about what roots us. The film follows a Korean-American family (headed by Steven Yeun and Yeri Han) who move to a tiny Arkansas farm in search of their own American Dream.

However, the family home changes completely with the arrival of their sly, foul-mouthed, but incredibly loving grandmother (played wonderfully by the Oscar and BAFTA-nominated Youn Yuh-jung), who strikes up one of the cinema’s most memorable intergenerational relationships with adorable grandson David (BAFTA-nominated Alan Kim).

Amidst the instability and challenges of this new life in the rugged Ozarks, Minari shows the undeniable resilience of family and what really makes a home.
