Adapted from Donna Tartt‘s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, the sprawling epic, The Goldfinch, focuses on Theodore Decker (Ansel Elgort), whose teenage life tragically changes when his mother is killed by a bomb at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Confused and in the rubble of tragedy, Theodore steals a priceless piece of art known as The Goldfinch.
Directed by John Crowley (Brookyln), the compelling odyssey of grief, guilt, reinvention and redemption features Nicole Kidman, Sarah Paulson and Jeffrey Wright, with cinematography from Academy-Award winner, Roger Deakins (Skyfall, Blade Runner 2049).
