Attending a film at Northampton Filmhouse:

Our absolute priority is to make sure that your visit is as welcoming as possible and that we have suitable measures in place to ensure that everything remains as Covid-safe as possible for our audiences, staff and artists. Please find below a list of the ways we are keeping you safe and the ways that you can also help us to do so. We are revising these measures all the time, so do check back for the latest guidance at the time of your visit. You’ll also receive details of all the below via email in advance of your visit with us:

Safety Measures:

Mask wearing is now a requirement of your visit, unless you are specifically exempt – please have an exemption card ready to show our teams. Not only is this a courtesy to your fellow audience members but in doing so, you continue to prioritise the safety of our essential front line staff and volunteers. They will all continue to wear face coverings. Please continue to wear them at all times unless you are specifically exempt, or are eating and drinking.

You will have been issued with e-tickets for your visit. You can either print these off or present them for scanning on your phone at one of our entrances. If there are multiple members of your party, please ensure that all individuals have their own tickets for scanning, or arrange a suitable meeting point outside the venue. If your tickets were carried over from a re-scheduled date you will receive a new set to the email address on your account no later than 48 hours before the show.

Please DO NOT ATTEND if you feel unwell or have symptoms of COVID-19. Our ‘Book with Confidence, Exchange with Ease’ pledge means if you cannot attend a screening due to Covid, our Box Office team will be happy to exchange your tickets to another screening or issue a credit note up to 24 hours prior to the film.

We have dedicated socially-distanced screenings available for various films – please check the film pages for times and availability.

The bar will be open for contact-less payments.

Hand sanitising stations are available in the Filmhouse – please use these, or your own hand sanitiser, regularly

Both screens will be cleaned and sanitised between each screening and overnight.

We ask you to continue to be mindful of others attending the Filmhouse. Please note that while the screening you are due to attend is welcoming audiences to a full capacity, Northampton Filmhouse is continuing to offer some socially distanced screenings. These are designed for those patrons who might not yet be comfortable attending at a full capacity. More information is available on our website.

These measures will be reviewed and updated in line with Government guidelines.
